My name is Faye Chatterley and I established POLE FIT. I have had a varied dance background from a young age. I also am qualified as a exercise and fitness instructor and hold a Sport Studies degree. With this I have taught as a freelance exercise instructor at most of the gyms and recreational establishments throughout Stoke on Trent.
My passion for pole dancing started around 2003 and eventually I undertook a pole dancing teacher training course in 2005 and have not looked back since. I began teaching my pole fit six week courses at Fahrenheit Dance School, however, due to the demand I have opened my own fitness studio called STUDIO FIT. This has provided me with a venue to teach all my fitness disciplines under one roof! (Apart from aqua aerobics). The venue has two studios - one for keep fit and one for pole fit. The pole fit room is used solely for pole related classes and has six fixed poles!
Pole Fit is an exercise and dance class incorporating the use of a pole. It improves flexibility, muscle tone and general fitness AND its so much fun!!!. Furthermore, from previous reports from attendees it has increased self esteem and boosted confidence. The pole fit beginner courses are for complete beginners and all shapes and sizes are welcome.
