Tout à commencé en janvier 2007, avec 2 bons amis depuis le secondaire, Cédric Chénier et Mathieu Lapointe. Après une bonne soirée bien arrosée, ils se sont dit ‘Pourquoi pas faire un band ?'. Étant deux amateurs de métal et sachant que dans leur petite ville, nommée Lachute, il y avait peu de groupes metal, ils se sont lancés. C’est ainsi qu’en fin janvier 2007, ils sont allés chez Cédric Périard, un batteur, ami de longue date, pour jouer de la musique et jammer quelque chose. C’est là que Woupla "Woupelaye" a été créé. Ils ont créé une toune en jammant, sans n'avoir jamais jouer ensemble auparavant et le résultat a été très satisfaisant. Cédric Périard (Pépé) devenait donc le batteur du groupe.
Le band n’avait toujours pas de nom, quand finalement l’idée d’incorporer une vieille blague ‘inside’ a été décidé. Polishdebin signifie « Polices-de-binnes » et peut se prononcer autant Police de binnes que Polices-des-binnes. C’était leur façon de parler contre la force policière. Logiquement, ils sont pro-liberté alors ils ont de la difficulté avec le fait quand la police se sert de leur faux pouvoir contre les gens.
Fin juillet 2007, un nouveau musicien s'est joint aux rangs de Polishdebin et c’est leur vieil ami, Jeffrey Pilon, qui est reconnu pour ses nombreuses blagues et son énorme désir d’être sur scène. Il devenait le deuxième guitariste.
Début août 2007, Cédric Périard devait quitter le band parce qu'il manquait de temps à lui consacrer. Par contre, un nouveau bassiste arrivait le jour même avec Pinss (Marc-Antoine Proulx). Après quelques tentatives pour trouver un batteur convenable, ils ont demandé à Pépé de les dépanner pour commencer à performer sur scène.
Le premier démo de Polishdèbin "Promo 2007" a été officiellement lancé le 22 décembre 2007 dans un vidéo qui est disponible sur Internet. Ce démo comporte 4 chansons démo complètement en français.
Fin janvier 2008, Polishdèbin subit un changement majeur au sein de l'alignement des membres du band. Un nouveau batteur arrive enfin avec Cody Andrews, Pinss est remplacé par Valérie Proulx, une jeune bassiste talentueuse de St-André-d'Argenteuil et Jeffrey Pilon annonce qu'il quitte le band en raison d'un manque de temps à lui consacrer. Polishdèbin trouve un nouveau guitariste en milieu février avec Alex Fournier, membre du groupe Last Men Standing.
Au courant de l'année 2009, le band dit adieu à 2 membres du groupe, Cody Andrews et Valérie Proulx. Maintenant avec trois membres permanents et un batteur temporaire, le groupe n'a jamais été aussi solide depuis le début de sa création et espère continuer son ascension vers les plus grandes sphères du metal québécois.

Everything started in January 2007, with 2 good friends from high school, Cedric Chenier and Mathieu Lapointe. After an evening of drunkeness, they asked themselves:"Why not create a band ?". Being two fans of metal and knowing the small number of metal bands in their city of Lachute, they decided to go for it. At the end of January 2007, they went to Cedric Periard's house, a drummer and a long time friend, to play some music and have fun. That night they create Woupla "Woupelaye". After creating this song, even though it was their first jam, the results were really interesting. Cédric Périard (Pépé) became the drummer.
The band was still nameless, then finally an idea of creating it with a joke from their high school years was decided. Polishdebin means « Polices-de-binnes » (in english it could mean Police of beans) and can be pronounced Police de binnes (in french). It was a way of talking against the police forces. Logically, they are pro-liberty, so they have problems accepting police forces trying to use their power and liberties against people.
In the end of July 2007, a new musician joined Polishdebin's ranks, an old friend, Jeffrey Pilon, a guy known for his countless jokes, as well as a huge desire to play live. He became the second guitarist.
Then one month later, Cédric Périard had to quit the band because he couldn't find the time needed to dedicate to the band. A new bassist joined the same day with Pinss (Marc-Antoine Proulx). Without any luck whatsoever in trying to find a new drummer, Pépé was asked again to rejoin the band momentarily because they wanted to organize and play a show.
The first Polishdebin demo "Promo 2007" was officialy released on a video, on December 22th 2007 on the web !
Fast forward to the end of January 2008, Polishdèbin went through major line-up changes. A new drummer was finally found with Cody Andrews, Pinss was remplaced by Valérie Proulx, a young talented bassist from St-André-d'Argenteuil and Jeffrey Pilon announced that he had to quit the band because he lacked the time to dedicate to the band as well. Polishdebin also found a new guitarist in middle of Febuary named Alex Fournier, he was a member of the band called Last Man Standing.
During year 2009, the band says good-bye to 2 members of the band, Cody Andrews and Valérie Proulx. Now with three permanent members and a temporary drummer, the band has never been that strong since the beginning of its creation and hope continuing to get stronger into the circles of metal quebec.

C’est le 21 novembre prochain que la formation beauceronne Sandwitchet la formation Outrage de montréal seront en prestation au Théatre de l'église sous le thème: Soirée Rock-métal-Poétique.
L'auteur Étienne Rousseau sera présent pour faire la lecture de poésie métal. Le tout sera présenté par l'animateur Skunk Boy très connu de la région de Montréal, accompagner de sa très séduisante skunk girl, Julie Bergeron. Plusieurs prix de présence seront distribué parmi les participant(es).
Un kiosque sera aussi disponible sur place afin de permettre aux gens
de se procurer des articles promotionnels à l’effigie des 2 formations,
ainsi que de l'auteur Étienne Rousseau.
Beauceville, le 11 Novembrer 2009 – C’est le 21 novembre prochain que la formation beauceronne Sandwitch et la formation Outrage de montréal seront en prestation au Théatre de l'église sous le thème Soirée Rock-métal-Poétique.
