SPITZER LINK TO PROSTITUTION RING: ANOTHER DEMOCRAT COUGHT WITH HIS PANTS DOWN!

New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer apologized to his family in an appearance before reporters Monday, March 10th following reports that he was linked to a high-profile prostitution ring.
Spitzer is believed to be an individual linked to a high-profile prostitution ring charged by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
Spitzer did not mention resignation in his brief appearance nor has an indictment been unsealed against him.
Spitzer scheduled the abrupt announcement from his office as news reports were breaking that the governor told staffers about his alleged involvement in the prostitution ring.

Ironicly the New York Times' Website, citing an anonymous administration official was the first to report that Spitzer told staffers about his involvement in the prstitution ring. No further details regarding his involvement were immediately available. Immediately after the Times' website released the story, a domino effect of the major tv news networks began breaking the story. On Tuesday March 11th, the story made big headlines in every major newspaper in the country.

Just a week before the scandal broke, four arrests were made in connection to the high-profile prostitution ring known as the Emperors Club VIP that served big-dollar clients.
The Smoking Gun Web site reported that federal agents swooped down on the alleged call girl ring last week. A detailed FBI affidavit obtained by the Web site showed that the high-priced agency was populated by very picky hookers.
In the affidavit, one prospective hooker refused to work for the company because it didn't pay enough and complained that a friend of hers had sex twice in an hour without getting dinner first. In another wiretapped conversation outlined in the affidavit, Emperors Club employees complained about a hooker who had to leave appointments early to pick up her kids from school, TSG reported.

According to a press release distributed by the U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York on Thursday March 6th, the four individuals allegedly running the operation had been charged with laundering more than $1 million through two front accounts.
The club's Web site shows a fee schedule of $1,000 per hour for a three-diamond prostitute and $3,100 per hour for a seven-diamond prostitute. Members of the exclusive Icon Club could reach restricted areas of the Web site and schedule appointments with the highest prostitutes, whose fees started at $5,500 per hour, the press release reads.

The Times reports that a source with knowledge of the governor’s role believes the governor is one of the men identified as client #9 in court papers relating to the Emporers Club.
The New York Sun reports that the investigation was run by U.S. attorneys who not only were probing individuals linked to the ring, but who also are part of the federal public corruption unit that investigates wrongdoing by elected and unelected officials.

THE FEDERAL PROBE AND SCANDAL:

The New York Times first reported on Monday March 10th that the wiretap recording was made during a federal investigation of a prostitution ring called Emperors Club VIP. Four people associated with the club were arrested the week before. Spitzer has not been chaged. The wiretap, according to federal complaint, identified a man known as Client #9 on a telephone call Feb. 13th discussing plans to have a prostitute travel from New York to Washington D.C., where he had reserved a hotel room for the night. Several media outlets, citing unnamed sources, identified Spitzer as Client #9.

The complaint says that Client #9 would "be paying for everthing - train tickets, cab fare from the hotel and back, mini bar or room service, travel time, and hotel." The affidavit suggests that the Client #9 was a repeat customer. In one instance, Client #9 allegedly said about payment that "Yup, same as in the past, no question about it."

The court documents state that Client #9 paid $4,300 after about a two-hour stay at room 871 of the unnamed Washington D.C. hotel, ending at about midnight. The Times, according to an unnamed source, reported that Spitzer stayed at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C. on Feb. 13th. Room 871 at the Mayflower Hotel that evening was registered under that name George Fox, the paper said on its website. A law-enforcement official quoted by the Times said that people running the prostitution ring knew Spitzer by George Fox, though a few of the prostitutes realized he was New York's governor. George Fox is not only the name Spitzer used, but Fox is also a friend and major doner to Spitzer. Fox told the paper he knew nothing of the situation.

The prostitute, identified only as "Kristen", allegedly said on the wiretap to a colleague Client #9 "would ask you to do things that, like, you might not think were safe." On Wednesday March 12th, the New York Times reported Kristen's real name accorting to court papers is Ashley Alexandra Dupre. A 22 year-old aspiring musician from Manhattan. Her home town is in Wayne, New Jersey.

Dupre's MySpace page at - www.myspace.com/ashleyalexandradupre, provides a window into her life as she went from a broken home in New Jersey to a music career in the city. On her page she wrote, "I have been alone. I have abused drugs. I have been broke and homeless. But, I survived, on my own. I am here, in NY because of my music." In an Aug. 30th blog posting on MySpace, she writes: "The past few months have been a roller coaster with so called friends, lovers, and family ... but its something you have to deal with and confront in order to move on..."
Next to a Dupre photograph is the slogan, "What destroys me, strengthens me". The photos show her at various places, including in a bikini on a boat in a tropical locale. The number of hits to the page soared by the tens of thousands after the story broke.

Soon after the news broke, Spitzer cancelled his Public schedule for that Monday. He notified aides earlier that day about the news.
Spitzer's popularity has sagged according to recent polls. A January 25 Marist College poll showed 56 percent of registered voters did not approve of Spitzer's job, and he only carried a 35 percent approval rating.

Spitzer became the worst governor in the country with one idiotic proposel after another. His problems first began when the "Troopergate" scandal revealed that two of Spitzer's aides used the state troopers to compile travel documents over Spitzer's chief political rival, Republican Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno's use of state aircraft for political purposes. Attorney General Andrew Cuomo found that there was no wrong doing on the part of Joseph Bruno. Spitzer's popularity plummeted as a result of the scandal, as well as his failed plan to give drivers' licenses to illegal immigrants last fall.

After details emerged of Eliot Spitzer's links to the prostitution ring, and calls for Spitzer to step down, the failed Governor of New York on Wednesday, March 12th announced his resignation in his offices in New York. Not only was he the worst governer in the state, his failed policies caused Mr. Spitzer to fall to rock bottom making him also the worst governor in the country. Ironicly the very same hard-headed tactics that the Governor used to get to the top, are the very same tactics that are now brining him down.

Some people thought that Spitzer's resignation was just a means for him to negociate plea deal to avoid criminal prosecution. But U.S. Attorney Michael Garcia, who is prosecuting the prostitution ring released a statement from his Manhattan office Wednesday saying no deal has been made. So Spitzer's legal troubles may not be over.

Experts said that Spitzer could still face a host of criminal charges, from soliciting a prostitute to violating the Manhattan Ack.-- a law almost 100 years old that criminalizes the transportation of women across state lines for the purposes of prostitution. It would appear that once again we have a situation where the democrats have ethical problems. Lawrence Williams, the former IHA director who is a democrat, used his position in a public office to abuse the system. And the Ithaca DA Gwen Wilkinson, who is also a democrat says she will not pursue criminal charges against him. What's even more ironic is Wilkinson's statement in the very next paragraph.

Wilkinson said "The majority of Williams' actions, while clearly unethical, are not illegal". This is an outrage that should not go unnoticed. It is dispicable that the Ithaca DA is not doing her job and another democrat gets away with scandalous activity while in a position of power. The people of Ithaca and Tompkins County should not stand for this. Ithaca elected Mrs. Wilkenson as DA to bring justice to the town and the county. Failure to do so can warrant her removal from that office if enough people bring this scandal to the public's attention. In this case the DA put politics ahead of her job. Just another example of democrats keeping and protecting their scandalous people.

Bush created the Department of Homeland Securety which allowed the CIA, and the FBI to work together. He soon after signed into law the PATRIOT ACT and inacted the NSA Terrorist Surveilance Program. All of these have protected our national securety and prevented any future attacks on US soil. As a result, Bush has crippled Al Qeada and almost has the network shut down. And all of these mis-informed 9/11 Fiction conspiracy groups want to blame Bush for the 9/11 attacks? They should be ashamed of themselves for lying to the American people & trying to exploit this tragety. We were attacked more times by Al Qeada when Clinton was President, than we ever were under Bush. Thanks to President Bush, we are safer now, than we were before 9/11 2001.

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — More than two years after he left the governor's office to make his unsuccessful run for the presidency, the fight over public access to Howard Dean's gubernatorial records is coming before the Vermont Supreme Court.
Monday's hearing is on the state's appeal of a ruling that 86 boxes of records Dean sealed when he left office in 2003 are instead presumed to be open.
Superior Court Judge Alan Cook ordered Dean and the state to identify each of the hundreds of thousands of documents in the boxes and say why each should be covered by executive privilege.
Dean, Secretary of State Deborah Markowitz and Attorney General William Sorrell had agreed in a memorandum of understanding when he left office in January 2003 that the records would be sealed for 10 years — the longest period any Vermont governor had asked that records be off limits.
Dean, newly elected chairman of the Democratic National Committee, told reporters in early 2003 that he sealed the records because "we didn't want anything embarrassing appearing in the papers at a critical time in any future endeavor."
The Washington-based group Judicial Watch sued to gain access to the records, saying the state public records law grants no exemption for potential political embarrassment or a thwarting of ambition.
"Dean's political aspirations and his desire to prevent anything from ruining them are not sound arguments for secreting such an enormous quantity of government documents from the public," said Thomas Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.
In briefs filed at the Supreme Court, the state argues that allowing governors to seal their records for a certain number of years after retirement is proper, and encourages governors not to destroy sensitive materials before sending papers to the archives. The strategy ensures "that the public will eventually obtain access to valuable archival documents," wrote Assistant Attorney General William Griffin.
Also at issue is a matter of money. Vermont's public records law allows state offices to charge for copies of records, and there is a debate over whether that means they can charge for merely viewing, rather than copying, records or whether they can charge for the time state lawyers spend examining documents to see which ones can be released.
After the Superior Court order last year, the attorney general's office said it would charge $168,750 just to create an index of Dean's records.
Dean was not known as a fan of public access when he was governor, and he repeatedly squabbled with media organizations seeking access to his daily schedule. Last month, he requested a media blackout of a debate in Portland, Ore., with former Pentagon adviser Richard Perle, then quickly changed his mind after news agencies complained.

A court ruling coming just one day before the Nobel Committee announcement labeled Al Gore’s global warming movie, An Inconvnenient Truth as “political indoctrination.” Stewart Dimmock, a Dover, England school Governor, had sued to halt use of An Inconvnenient Truth as scientifically valid teaching material in the United Kingdom. The so-called "documentary" had been distributed to every government-run school in the UK.

(3.)The film uses emotive images of Hurricane Katrina and suggests that this has been caused by global warming. The government’s expert had to accept that it was “not possible” to attribute one-off events to global warming.

(4.)The film asserts the drying up of Lake Chad was caused by global warming. The government’s expert had to accept this was not the case.

(6.)The film warns that global warming could stop the Gulf Stream, throwing Europe into an ice age: the claimant’s evidence was that this was a scientific impossibility.

(9.)The film claims that rising sea levels has caused the evacuation of certain Pacific islands to New Zealand. The government is unable to substantiate this, and the Court observed that this appears to be a false claim.

ALBANY - Half of the state's 62 counties trail the nation in five key measures of economic growth, and the state as a whole is behind in four out of five categories, according to a new study.

"This index shows just how badly New York's economy has performed compared to the nation, and it confirms that Upstate New York is locked in a profound economic crisis." said Business Council President Kenneth Adams. "Through a long period that includes both ups and downs in the national economy, New Yorks economic performence has been awful."

The Business Council's re-search arm took growth in five categories in New York (jobs, average wage per job, total personal income, per-person income, and population) between 1995 and 2005 and matched them with national norms.
New York lagged in all but the growth in wages per job, giving it a D rating.

Twenty-seven states did better than New York on the Business Council index, nine did worse and 13 others got the same rating.

Now it is important to note that all of the republican states and states with republican govenors and republican lead counties all got A+ grades. All of the democratic states with democratic govenors and democrat lead counties all got failing grades. New York, my state, is a democratic state. It has received a failing grade. Thus confirming what I have been saying all along about the democrats and their failed policies. It appears that the american people need to learn a valuable lesson from this study. This lesson comes with three main points.

I think it is pretty obvious that the democrats don't know what they are doing. Looks like the democrats need to take a cource in economics. Not only that, they need to take some notes from the republicans. Remember, Carter screwed things up with double digit stag-flation and bad liberal policies. All of which were improved and fixed by Reagon's conservative policies. Those were continued until Bush 41 broke his "NO NEW TAXES" promise. Bill Clinton had the largest tax increase in all of history which lead to a recession. Bush 43 got us out of the Clinton/Gore recession and sparked ecinomic growth through his tax cuts, and created over eight million new jobs after 9/11.

2008 may be the most critical year in our political history. The Iowa caucus results are in, in what appears to be very unprecedented. Republican Arkensas Govenor Mike Huckabee, who was reported to be the underdog, pulled off a big win beating his rival Republican Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. Romney's second place is really no surprise considering he outspent Huckabee with mud throwing attack ads that brought up questionable claims about Huckabee's gubenatorial history. Romney chose to run a negative campaign against his Republican opponents forgetting Ronald Reagon's 11th Commandment. "Thow shall not speak ill of a fellow Republican".

Tied for third place were Senator John McCain, and former Senator Fred Thompson, Both collecting 13% of the caucus vote. While McCain may be the most honorable and the most respected of the bunch, some of the things in his senate record, and his constant talk of his combat service might have cost him his loss in Iowa. As for Fred Thompson, a lot of the Iowa Caucus voters felt like he didn't express an ambition for being there. They felt like he was out of place and wasn't really connecting with the people.

Collecting 10% of the vote was Congressman Ron Paul, who has raised the most money. The problem for Mr. Paul is that most of his support comes from the 9/11 conspiracy groups, and he is campaigning as an icelationist and does not speak for the Republican party. Ron Paul ran for president before as a Libratarian. Last time I checked, there was no Libratarian wing of the Republican party. And a Libratarian running as a Republican does not mix well with the base of the party. Thus, Ron Paul will not get the party's nomination for the Presidency of the united states.

Rudy Giuliani chose not to compete in Iowa which only gave him 3% of the caucus vote. Giuliani's stratagey of a more national approach may prove note worthy. Just in the fact that he placed at all in Iowa, and the fact that he is ahead in the national polls shows that Giulani is far from out of this race. Giuliani may pull off an upset for his Republican opponents with his national campaign which ends up giving him the Republican nomination. Placing dead last in Iowa, and virtually not a threat to the other Republican opponents were Congressmen Duncan Hunter, and Tom Tancredo. Dispite their losses to Huckabee in Iowa, none of the Republican candidates dropped out of the race. All of them are now looking ahead to New Hampshire.

On the Democratic front Barack Obama took the first step toward his hopes of becoming the first Black President of the United States. Making history and shocking the party, Obama beat his Democratic opponents kicking Senator John Edwards into second place, and Senator Hillary Clinton knocked down to third place. Among these three candidates, Hillary is probably the most devatated. Her campaign tried to pertray her as the inevitable candidate. But the Obama campaign shattered that theory, showing that Hillary is in fact vulnerable. Edwards on the other hand has reason to celebrate, because he can say that he beat Hillary in Iowa. However, this does put him in the same position that he was in when he ran for President in the 2004 election. In fourth place with only 3% of the caucus vote was Democratic New Mexico Governer Bill Richardson, whos campaign isn't going anywhere compared to the other Democratic candidates.

The casualties of the caucus were Democratic Senators' Chris Dodd of Connecticut, and Joe Biden of Dellaware, who both dropped out of the race. Placing dead last in the Iowa caucus was Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, who needs to get upducted by that UFO he claims that he saw.

The Iowa caucus voters have spoken, and it is clear who they want in the White House. One thing is clear, they do not want Hillary. Hillary's negatives are far more than what the american people can handle. But there are serious questions to be asked here. Are Huckabee and Obama truely the candidates that will get the nomination of their parties? Keep in mind that this race is far from over. Anything can happen from now until November. But ask yourself, in the last fifty years, when was the last time a senator was elected President of the United states? Furthermore, when was the last time a Democrat won in Iowa, and then went on to win the Presidency? If Obama pulls off a campaign that wins every Democratic Primary and then goes on to get the nomination of his party, he would be braeking just about every record in our political history. But Obama has a slite down fall. His record in the senate, and he is not expirienced enough to be qualified to be President of the United States.

Most of our Presidents have been Governors, Vice Presidents, and other such qualified public offices. Mike Huckabee stands a better chance of getting elected President than Barack Obama does. Being that he has governed a state and has more accompishments in his political career than Obama could ever hope to dream of. Obama's record in the Senate is very much like Hillary's unaccomplished record in the Senate. Very liberal proposals, not very much accomplished, not much of an impact or benifit for the people they represent. So remember, when you are considering the next leader of our country, ask yourself, what has this person accomplished in their political career? What qualifies this person to be the President of The United States of America? Just a little something to think about this year.

In this stunning election primary process Senator John McCain pulled off a big win in New Hampshire becoming the come back kid with 37% of the vote for the GOP. Passing his Republican front runners former he bumped Mitt Romney into second place with 32% and put Mike Huckabee into third place with 11% of the GOP vote. Rudy Giuliani faired better than he did in Iowa placing fouth with 9% of the vote, almost tied with Ron Paul who got 8%. Senator Fred Thompson placed last with less than 3% of the GOP vote.

that many conservatives have been calling in and asking various

issue of Pelosi and her lies and how the Democrat Party politicized the
issue of our national security.
