Don't watch much, i think TV is a colossal waste of time, and lowers your IQ with repeated viewing. I do like the history channel, discovery channel, and some stuff on the sci-fi channel. Like South Park, Beavis and Butthead and other comedy programs also. Probably spend less than 1% of my time in front of the set.

"Lord of the Isles" series (Drake), Dean Koontz, Terry Brooks, Edgar Allan Poe, Machievelli, Tsun Tsu (the Art of War, and basically anything written in English. Love sci-fi and fantasy genre...hate romance novels.
