Polka Haunt Us™ is a compilation recording, containing 13 original spooky tracks, each based upon famous ghostly traditions from different regions around the world. (Vampire Surprise has been included as bonus track) destined to be a perennial Halloween/Dia de Los Muertos/All Saints Day classic.
Different sub-genres of polka and waltz were merged in unholy alliance with World Music and other unusual musical combinations- from Klezmer to Folk, Metal to Country, Asian to Reggae- resulting in a delightfully dark melange of music (or 'Sonic Frankenstein' if you will) best described as "World Gothic Polka."

Who is Veronique?
In addition to her 6 MySpace profiles, Veronique is known as The "Weird Val" of Cabaret, for her hilarious parodies and side-splitting covers. (Imagine if Jim Morrison and Elvira had a twisted, Edith Piaf-like love child).
She is the recipient of The Unanimous Choice Award for Best Independent Cabaret Artist by the Los Angeles Music Awards for her benefit recording Cabaret4Choice.
Deemed "too extreme for Simon" she was gonged off the first season of "America's Got Talent", after only 20 seconds, which only proves her gifts are wasted on the masses.
Why Spooky Polka? What better vehicle for a MADemoiselle of mixed heritage, (Polish/French/Lithuanian), who grew up attending 13 different schools, whilst traversing the globe?

On June 16th, the Pop Haydn Post-Modern Medicine Show will be appearing at The Laugh Factory, 8001 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood! One show at 8:00 PM.
Pop will be joined by Professor Dave Bourne and the Medicine Show Band, Rob Zabrecky, Sophie Evans, Antonio Hoyos, Phil Van Tee and Pop's Candy Girls for a wonderful show of Old Time Music, magic, comedy and variety. It'll make you feel better!
