“The new Duffy? No! Polly Perry’s way better!” 5/5
UNCUT

"a harmony blend of country, jazz, blues, folk and gospel"
The Sunday Times Culture

"Polly And The Billets Doux deliver a twee sort of nostalgia (all upright bass and brushed snares)...it falls inside the right end of the Imelda May/Fairground Attraction spectrum"
The Independent

“From hot rocking thrills, to jazzy splendour to country darkness, the musical brief of Polly and the Billets Doux seems to be, if it sounds and feels good, go for it!”
The Daily Mirror

“One of the more entertaining and more fully formed debuts of the year!”
Rock ‘n’ Reel Magazine

“Polly and the Billets Doux offer time travel back to festival days gone by with country, godspel and blues flowing from the flower-covered stand...This short sharp injection of nostalgia reminded me exactly why I only rarely make it to the Pyramid Stage; there seems to be many more gems hidden in the countryside.”
The Official Glastonbury Review

“This is accomplished stuff. Polly Perry’s belting vocals are infectious, and she has assembled a talented backing group who sound assured playing blues, country and jazz.
For Folk’s Sake

“The voices, the phrasing, the harmonies and the spaces between are really damn fine bluegrass tinged country.”
