Pollyn is Genevieve Artadi, Anthony Cava, and Adam Weissman, a trio of Los Angeles artists who began collaborating in 1999.
Pollyn creates eerie atmospheric pop music in the beautiful city of Los Angeles. They are more than halfway through the recording of their full length debut album, which is currently without a title.
Their debut EP, Songs for Sale featured production by Tom Rothrock (Beck, Elliott Smith, James Blunt), and garnered comparisons to Sade, Everything But the Girl, and Morcheeba.
Pulling influences from soul, tropicalia, prog-rock, jazz, and electronic music, Pollyn's sound is not easily categorized, but there is something strangely comforting and familiar about it.
