The Pol_On is a band created by Kacper Bogacz and Michał Piotrowski. The first one is a graduate of the Academy of Jazz Music in Katowice and a respected jazz musician who became known to a wider audience for serving its own live acts as Piroman vs. Pan K together with Michał Romanowski. The second one - Mike P - is without a doubt one of the key “characters” of Warsaw’s techno/house club scene. Over the last years he was involved in organization of events, booking of festivals and numerous productions - among others also with SLG.
The two of them started to cooperate in 2007 by playing parties together. It turn out quickly that both of them shared the same musical passion, a similar approach and the common vision. The next step was a joint trial music production that soon developed into something more significant. Cooperation between them transfered into music production, with time it has become more and more professional, which resulted in interest from Channels Records. In April 2009 they have released their first single "Ranom"
Next step was a very good Ep for Outils Du Connaisseur, and releases for Get Physical Music and Mothership, with their friends Catz'n'Dogz.
A year 2010 also promises very good. Forthcoming releases for Freerange Records, also material for new label PETS with remixes of King Roc and Adreas Saag, and the next Ep for Outils Du Connaisseur which has been surprisingly well received by top Dj's.
At the moment polish duo is working with Catz'n'Dogz, on their new material for Get Physical, and more seriously thinking about their first album...
In its productions Pol_On does not restrict itself to one style, combining modern sounds of electronic music with everything that has been its inspiration in the past years.
