About POLTA(New Song UP!)

　弾き語りのソロやROCKET Kで活動中の尾苗愛が自身のソングライティングによる新たなバンドを立ち上げるべくメンバーを募り、2008年４月に結成。

　日本詞／英詞を織り交ぜた歌詞に伸びのあるオリジナリティ溢れる歌声と耳に残るメロディ、パワーポップ／ポップパンクなサウンドとが相乗効果をもたらし、すでに彼らならではの“ポップ”な世界観を構築。

　結成間もないながらも６月にオリジナル２曲のデモをレコーディングし、MySpaceにて公開すると思わぬ反響を呼ぶことに。そして現在マスタリングを施しCD「Love Pop Yeah Yeah EP」としてライブ会場とindiesmusic.comにて限定販売中。

　なお、広川は今までにSTRIPE EFFECT（活動休止中）やLA-PPISCH（サポート）、O他でドラムを叩き、現在はFLIGHT OF IDEA他でも活躍、猪爪はTHE COMMiTMENTSでギターを弾くなど個々の活動も積極的で、その演奏力の高さでPOLTAサウンドを支えている。

POLTA was formed in April, 2008 by Ai Onae, a musician playing solo and in ROCKET K.

Their music, both in English and Japanese, is heartfelt and fantastic with Ai’s distinctive voice and their powerpop, pop punk sound, which you cannot miss.

POLTA has already recorded 2 songs that can be listened to in MySpace. Moreover the CDs will be sold in their show venue, so just go to their show, enjoy the music and get the CDs.

*Haruki “Shu” Hirokawa played drums in STREET EFFECT (activity stop), LA-PPISCH (support), O. And he plays drums in FLIGHT OF IDEA. Ayu Inotsume plays guitar in THE COMMiTMENTS. Such their experiences make POLTA’s music absolutely great.
