Dear Friends,
As we have been writing, rehearsing, and recording our new material over the past several months, an idea took shape in our conversations about our music and our vision for the band. It began as a simple discussion, a small seed of inspiration, about our perspective on the world and music and grew into something much more as we re-evaluated our future musical careers. We realized that we want to do more with our music than we ever have before. Musically, we want to go further with our sound, establishing a deeper emotional connection with our audience while maintaining the energy for which we have always been known. Beyond the music, we want to challenge ourselves to reach out to the community that motivates and grows with us. We want to generate a positive change that gives something back to the people around us and stirs others into action. This is the responsibility we feel as musicians. This is the role we all take as members of society.
This is The Classic.
As of this moment, we bid a fond farewell to the memories we’ve had as Polymer and look ahead as we start anew with this seed, The Classic, that has already started to grow into something much larger.

Our first event will be held at 9 PM on June 28th in less than 2 weeks at the North Star in Philadelphia. We, The Classic, will be performing along with support from The Revere, Reality Stricken and Phantasm.
We are working with Philabundance for this event, which is the region’s largest hunger relief organization. They work hard and make a difference to end hunger and malnutrition in our area by acquiring food and distributing it through organizations that serve people in need.
Please help make a difference and bring two non-perishable items to the event. Recommended food items for kids include:
100% Fruit Juice (Shelf Stable, Juice Boxes, Cans or Plastic Bottles Only), Breakfast Cereal, Breakfast Bars, Fruit Cups, Canned/Shelf Stable Tuna, Canned Pasta, Beef Ravioli, Macaroni & Cheese, Peanut Butter (Plastic Containers Only), Jelly (Plastic Containers Only)
We will be donating all entry fees to Philabundance as additional assistance in their day to day battles to improve life in our area.
