POLYMORPH RECORDING STUDIOS is an affordable audio house specializing in tracking, mixing, mastering, voice-over recording, rehearsal, home DAW installation, restoration and consultation. Owner/Engineers Mark Stikman and Dan Rathbun have more than 40 years combined experience working with a variety of musical styles and program material including rock, jazz, acoustic, electronic, commercial spots for radio, voice-overs, and film soundtracks. Polymorph is the Recording Studio in California's East Bay that continues to earn rave reviews from local musicians and corporations. Polymorph combines highly personalized service and professional know-how with state-of-the-art recording studio equipment to help you create exactly the sound you want-without having to work overtime in order to pay for it. Whether you need to record a demo, a vocal track, or an entire album, Polymorph is the recording studio where your project will receive complete and personal attention from conception through final completion. I want to help make your project sound great! Located just off the 51st Street Exit in historic Oakland, California, Polymorph is also accessible by BART in the heart of Oakland's Temescal District. Polymorph is equipped with a variety of analog and Digital formats. Analog: Polymorph features an AMPEX 1200 2-inch Analog Tape deck. We also have available a number of legacy analog formats such as 16-track-1-inch 8-track-1/2inch, and 1/4inch-2-track. Digital: Polymorph features 32. 24-bit input converters with the availability of well over 100 tracks per project (i.e., per song). Software: Polymorph features Digital Performer. Logic Pro 8, and Pro Tools are also available. Our Studio includes: Acoustically engineered live room, custom-built isolation booths, extensive collection of state-of-the-art and vintage mics, a wide assortment of acoustic and electric instruments. STUDIO A Polymorph's Studio A houses a 24 input TRIDENT SERIES 65 mixing desk with VCA automation. The 300 sq/ft control room was designed by Rance Mannion. Studio A is the main mix room and also has 3 Iso-booths with visual line-of-sight. Studio A Book Rate: $750/Day with engineer Day rates are for ten-hour days. Please call for specials and seasonal packages. Studio B, "The Editing Room” Studio B offers the Artist a lower-cost alternative for editing and production. Studio B Book Rate: $150 for 3 hours with engineer Please call for specials and seasonal packages. "Bratwurst" our rehearsal room offers the Artist a lower-cost alternative for recording with a full PA. Great for pre-production work.
