Everything really... All the pressure that has hit my ear drums over the years, all the light that's fallen into my eyes, all the feelings I've felt, the act of doing and just from "Being" here on planet earth!!!
"I" am not so much a "person", in the sense that society might usual presume. "I" cannot not be defined by the clothes that "I" wear, the "things" "I" like and do, OR even where "I" live, how many friends "I" have and what Religion "I" belong to. This "I" cannot even be defined by the name it was given at birth... For these are all illusory social constructs that are hung over this great unknown/unknowable process that we find ourselves in, which even at the best of times "I" cannot easily see. And through these illusions "I" am afforded a freedom and focus from the naturally infinite process of "Being". So "I" continues to define itself to numb the pain of helplessness, creating new purpose and meaning. But again purpose and meaning only try to define... So this limits the essence of "Being" and limits what the "I" sees and truly is. And through this limited view, the "I" is afforded a brief and complacent existence, one that seems to be free of any painful unknowable depths or any change or suffering, where "We" collectively presume so much will not affect our "I". But why lie to myself? Rather than define, "I" would say... "I" am the emptiness in between all "This"; the undefinable pattern of energetic balance that ebbs and flows in the eternal cycle of Yin & Yang; "I" am the color that chooses, dances, creates, loves and simply "Is". No more, no less. But then even to describe this great unknown with words it to limit its being... For to call nothing "Nothing" is to make it something.
The Tao is great.
The universe is great.
Earth is great.
Man is great.
These are the four powers.
Man follows the earth.
Earth follows the universe.
The universe follows the Tao.
The Tao follows only itself.
