“Polynove pole” (The Wormwood field) is an ukrainian gothic-metal band formed in L’viv, in 2005. During over three-years career they took parts in all major ukrainian rock-festivals. Media proclaimed them, as one of the most successful ukrainian live-act band. In 2006 they played on one stage with Swedish doom-metal legend “Lake of Tears”, during their recent tour. “Polynove Pole” released their first demo in 2005. It achived a strong public attention and good reviews in media. The first single “Chysti Dushi” (The Purity of Souls) had become available for public views on the official web site in may 2008.
After one year internet-label Kataklysmos Faktory have released the full length album of Polynove pole - "On the seven winds" as web-pack. Everyone can download it from the official wev-site www.polynovepole.com.ua.
The band has presented the full length album during the one hour show at the joint concert with polish band Cemetery of Scream and ukrainian bands Apostate and Funestum. The gig was professionally filmed. In plans is to release the video on DVD this autumn.
Music of "Polynove Pole" is a bewitching mixture of doom-metal with gothic melancholy and traditional ukrainian folk . Band's lyrics carry their own philosophy, and take an inspiration from ancient pagan beliefs, that were strong in Ukraine centuries ago.

Finally we are ready to come out of our cocoon and release our first full length recording called Moonlit Numina. It will be released the 3rd of October 2009. But in the meantime you can listen to the three songs appearing on The Moonlit Single.
