It was 2005, the year when anna k and hedytia created this imaginary band to compliment their taste in everything, includes : fashion, music, lifestyle, art, bullshits and whatnot. the word polypony came to mind, coz it sounds cool, and cheap at the same time. karin and tya would propose and promote to everyone about this band that virtually non-existent. later around early to mid 2006, karin and tya experimented with garageband from apple. she created simple and short beats, but yet compelling and silly and danceable. this short and simple samples will be translated to more complex and refined by mrdr. along the way to the end of 2006, polypony still considers themself as imaginary, until a good friend of us from ruangrupa invited us to play at the art show "32 derajat". officially polypony's debut gig. from there to here, past to present, imaginary to semi-imaginary, here it comes, presented by the cheap reality of instant urban lifestyle, a readymade of its own, polypony...
A DUO that will define the new 'cool',
the group that will set domestic trends upon upcoming attitude and taste in music,
the band that everyone hates but you love it,
the noise from the hood, etc....blah blah blah
