Pomona Jaycees

Who I'd like to meet:

The Pomona Jaycees trace their roots to 1933, and is one of the oldest chapters in California. Our long and distinguished past has helped to shape our community as we know it today through Individual Development, Community Development and Management Development projects. Early activities included the Annual Christmas Parade, a Back to School clothes shopping spree for underprivileged children, and J-Bar, a fund raising event to support our annual community activities. Many alumni of the Pomona Jaycees have gone on to hold elected offices and many own successful businesses. Each attributes a large part of their success to the training they received through their involvement in the Jaycees. Many continue to show their dedication and appreciation by being actively involved or by offering financial support. Several of our members have been elected President of the California Junior Chamber of Commerce and others have gone on to win awards in national competitions. The Pomona Jaycees are a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation. Donations made to the Pomona Jaycees are not tax-deductible as charitable donations.
