I'm a MIDI composer who writes video game style music. The songs you hear on this page were written using instrument samples taken from various SNES games.
I like your layout a lot, it's very easy on the eyes--something a lot of people seem to neglect when making their loud themes with explosions, clashing colors and text. How's your music coming along these days?
P.S. - Have you heard the Sonata of the Damned OC Remix album? It's class.
Oh, I didn't realize you responded to my comment on your own page.
But you're totally right, and I'd recognize that chipset anywhere, I played with RPG Maker since the 95 version and stopped when RMXP was released. I was, umm, kind of a geek being a mod of an RM resources forum and distributing stuff like that and making title screens for people.
It's really not a bad idea, I'd do it myself if I still had all of those fancy-pants chipsets from mac & blue.
Yep heh....18 dog years that is ...wait that's just silly - 136 dog years!... that's about right.
Yeh but 'tis cool that you noticed the vgm influence. I can definetely hear that in your compositions aswell ; ) Right on. Speaking of which - keep up the good work there, 'tis some really cool music you're making. Very cool vibes.
I wish I could compose like that... fantastic music, all of it. I can't help but think that midi doesn't do it any real justice, even if it can suffice.
Nonetheless, keep up the great work. I look forward to hearing more.
