PonyRec is one of the younger labels from Denmark and we are here to stay!

PonyRec was started in summer 2004. Within the first year of existing PonyRec released 4 debut albums by Danish artists; Halph, Tenderloud, Gravy and Munck//Johnson.

Since the 4 debut releases, PonyRec has released the follow-ups for both Halph, Munck//Johnson and Gravy.

In fall 2007 PonyRec released their first 7”: Choir Vs. Evil. A split 7” by the 2 amazing artists; Evil Death Machine and Choir Of Young Believers. Later in 2007 PonyRec released their first 10”; Munck//Johnson Live EP with 4 tracks.

In 2008 PonyRec released the first albums by non-Danish artists on the label: Majessic Dreams from Sweden and Jersey from Germany. Both albums received a lot of great reviews and Jersey is going to be very active as a liveband in 2009.

2009 is going to be busy for PonyRec: So far 5 albumreleases has been planned.
The 3rd by Halph, the debut by Livaventura and then 3 albums by new signings. First is Lily Electric, to be released in March for the world outside Denmark. Followed by Alcoholic Faith Mission. Their 2nd album and last Green Pitch who also releases their 2nd album.

So look out - a lot of very cool stuff is coming your way!
