The Stone Pony is one of the world's most well-known music venues. Since it opened in 1974, many of the world's most popular musical artists have played on its stage. The club was renovated in 2000, preserving the character associated with its early years while adding a permanent exhibition of art and artifacts from the history of the city and the venue itself.

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
rocked the Pony to a packed holiday crowd
this past Thursday. The stage was jukin' with the
return of Bobby Bandiera, La Bamba, Mark Pender
and a six-piece horn section. The show featured
an acoustic segment with Johnny backed by
Bandiera and Bob Burger on guitars. This
three-hour plus show more than lived up to
the reputation of this holiday classic.

Saved by the Bell's Principal Belding stopped by the
Pony as actor Dennis Haskins was visiting with S.O.A.P.'s Kevin O'Keefe.
When they left the building, people waiting on line outside started chanting "Go Bayside!"
Stay tuned for another S.O.A.P. 2008 announcement coming soon.

Madame Marie has finally left the boardwalk.
Asbury's beloved fortune teller has passed away at 96.
Madame Marie's booth is the last standing boardwalk
testament to a magical time, the music explosion
of the 1970s. Madame Marie's spirit in the night

carry on the tradition. Stop in for a reading!

If you're looking for a great place to warm up before Asbury shows,
