Forged in the scenic Santa Cruz wilderness, Pony Showdown exploded onto the Bay Area hardcore scene in 2008 with an acrobatic, and sometimes dangerous live show that is catapulting them to the top of the fastest growing genre on the West Coast.
The band's first full-length album, Professionals Built The Titanic, Amateurs Built The Ark, is set to hit shelves December 2009.
Pony Showdown manages a delicate blend of Stefan's larger-than-life choir voice with bone jarring guitar breakdowns and a moderate dose of low and high screams to accomplish a sonic entrée of spine-tingling classics.
Taking on the challenge of being both Beauty and The Beast, this new band infuses experimental hardcore with beautiful rhythmic choruses of epic proportions. With standout tracks like "We Make It Rain Like SNOW," look for Pony Showdown to become a major force in the hardcore landscape.
