poodlestick is michael and erik from the band(s) blank_blank and mystery pill. poodlestick began one day after a blank_blank practice when erik hit a few drums and randomly muttered the term "poodlestick". when asked what poodlestick meant, his response was "intense drum beats; monolith" and so poodlestick began. this is a band that is about trying new things and creating new instruments. we are a part of the website www.subjectivecollective.com and there you can find every "album" we have released. so far there is a demo(recorded mostly with one or two microphones onto a tape) and the reasonable people ep. the later features more rehearsed and recreatable songs while the first ep is lo fi as shit and cool in a totally different way. we would recommend listening to some of the songs on the SC website or even hear some live recordings from the last time we played on radio greensboro which are at your disposal if you scroll up the page! There is an historic event upcoming at the prestigious Andy Griffith Playhouse in Mount Airy ("Mayberry"), NC. It will be the venue's 1st Appalachian Rock show, and seats are only $5, with proceeds going to www.AllSouthernRock.com internet radio.
