Books
Mostly non-fiction, history, memoirs. I love Virginia Woolf and poetry, and Albert Camus. Astrotheology and Shamanism, The Vestibule, Rick Strassman, The McKenna bothers, The Mysterious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (wonderful book!). Jane Pauley's book, SkyWriting, touched me. Daniel Pinchbeck and David Sedaris are both fascinating. Why is there no favorite artists section?

Strange. Girl. My journal.
I am a poet, for real, like a real serious poet. I make films with my husband, as his production assistant. He also speaks and writes books. I also have dyslexia. So, I might type things screwy. This does not mean I can't spell! ;) I'm 100% honest and always myself. I'm hyper-emotional and prone to anxiety. Suck it. I love movies. I adore Luna and I'd travel the country to see them (too bad they broke up). Thom Yorke is so very appealing to me. I have a really strange crush on Moby and Adrien Brody. I AM vegetarian. I pull random muscles and can't explain how. I love to buy books and spend time in bookstores that have Starbucks coffee because I am a coffee whore, but Ihop coffee is just as good. I'm very friendly and I trust openly, until you hurt me. That is a vice. I'm really animated when I talk. I'm hyper as hell most of the time. I like to live on sugar. This is way too much info. Here there and everywhere. Oh and and and I reeeealy like Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock. I want a concrete house or a dome. I really like technology, but I hate depending on technology. Some of my favorite people don't own a tv. I want to get there! I want to eventually let go of all materialism. Some of my favorite people are Dennis McKenna, John Major Jenkins, Andrew Rutajit, Moby and Henry Rollins. My email is jenfromtx6@yahoo.com
If you care enough, My website from years ago that sucks ass b/c I don't pay for it anymore.
I'm allergic to milk and lactose intolerant. I'm a veg, leaning toward vegan. I haven't stepped a foot in a church for 6 years. I believe in allowing the spirit to be free and to foster freedom of ideas. I respect my religious friends and I expect them to respect me. Circumcision is evil.
Body Worlds is awesome.
I went to Emerson College in Boston. Anyway, Emerson was great, but it's much fancier now. My Art History teacher was a bitch. I am going to write poetry for a living, or at least write poetry and publish and work freelance jobs for money, that thing that sucks the life out of everything it touches.
Who I'd like to meet: Jack Black, Christopher Walken, PJ Harvey, Moby, Reginka, My fav comedians. Stephen Colbert, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Derrick Jensen and a ton of dead people. I recently met several of my long-time favorites! I hope to continue this journey. I have been very lucky in life.
When I'm not dreaming, people that i can feel at home with which means people with BRAINS/WIT/HUMOR.
I know! Staying in GP wasn't really planned until that day and I thought I'd seen a post of yours about being out of town. Crappy! But it sounds like you had fun =)
Develop the mind of equilibrium. You will always be getting praise and blame, but do not let either affect the poise of the mind: follow the calmness, the absence of pride. Take Care & EnJoy
I hope your week is going fantastic. Remember to set your standards for things you want to experience low so the little things can help you trigger those feelings. On the same note make sure to set your criteria for unhappy emotions so high that you will never experience them as well.
