I am short,swarthy bohemian/irish descended Native Houstonian artist/musician spawn.
I have always dabbled in many different artistic mediums, but I spend most of my time just pacing in circles with too many ideas happening simultaneously for me to even begin to act upon them...
I am co-founder of Super Happy Fun Land.
I also enjoy street busking as a means of supplementary income!
I wear funny costumes partially as a means of coping with severe social anxiety.
Do not be offended if I do not recognise you, or blank out/freeze up while talking to you.
Even though it may sound as though I just recently learned to play the ukulele, I have actually been playing for quite a while, I just have bad coordination...but I am willing to give beginner ukulele lessons for reasonable prices.
I have been singing on stage since I was a kid.
I make toys and also collect homemade toys that other people have made. I have close to 100 Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls and a vast array of sock monkeys.
If you would like a portrait monkey (or any other animal) of yourself, a pet, a favorite celebrity/historical figure or a friend, I'm your girl. Send me a message. I will try to set a reasonable price where I will be compensated for my efforts without price gouging you...it is a delicate balance.
I also do screen printing, and have a few different beginner techniques that I am willing to teach for fair compensation. Contact me to schedule a workshop. I can also teach sock creature workshops.
I am currently looking for a band..either a pre-existing band that could use the addition of female vox and ukulele....OR musicians willing to back me up for performances and an eventual recording project....I am looking for percussion and unconventional instrumentlaists...banjo..harsichord..air organ toy piano..etc...if interested, please send me a message.
