    with World Music overtones"
    because it's also that.

About me:

I'm an artist who draws and paints spirits and dreams.
They find me and flow through
my hands onto material surfaces.....
usually canvas, paper, or wood.

These spirits and/or dreams
take different forms.
Sometimes they take the form of some kind of being,
say a mermaid, a sprite, or a dancer;
sometimes they take the form of a "place"---
a landscape in my mind;
other times there is a vision
of an entire diorama with characters and activities
that appear from the river of my subconscious.

Often I'm quite surprised at what emerges,
though often it's a pleasant surprise.

Metaphysics, metaphors, archetypes, and
universal symbols fascinate me.
These things are threaded throughout all my work.
