Realistic pop art paintings of woman’s and man’s best friend- If you would have asked him ten years ago Nathan Janes would have never dreamed that his work would be the celebration of canineness that it is today. It wasn’t until the adoption of his first dog from a local animal shelter that this artist began to feel the pull of a creative style now best known as Pop ARF. “When Button came into my life I become inspired by the enthusiasm and love that a dog could possess. There is really something special about dogs and the way that they connect with us so personally.” This inspiration paired with a unique style of rendering and a gallant color palette makes Janes’ canine subjects seem to come alive in front of you.
With articles about his work published in a number of national and international publications Janes is becomingly increasingly known worldwide for his unique style and subject matter. In 2005, Janes was named “Emerging Artist and Trendsetter,” by Art Business News, the largest trade publication in the U.S. Janes has created a number of original designs, which have been used to help support various nonprofit organizations that promote animal welfare. Among these projects, Janes has designed the first official ribbon for animals, the “Animal Guardian Ribbon,” which is being distributed by Rational Animal to help support animal shelters nationwide.
Janes strives to combat the popular perception that fine art can only be in certain styles or of certain subjects. He wants his art to be seen as pleasing images, which carry a deep message about humans’ interactions with the animals in their lives. “I want people to look at my art and get an emotional reaction- most people have had an animal that was close to them in their life. I hope that they see my art and remember those bonds that they have felt with animals they have loved.”
Nathan Janes is a graduate of The Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio.

I am honored to have you as my friend, ! Patrick Henry said: "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the ( http://www.therealamericanhis-story.com/gospel ) gospel of Jesus Christ! For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here." So, the first step is to remember ( http://www.therealamericanhis-story.com/ ) where we came from.
