    The name is a program. Stylistically anchored in the Graffiti scene, the PopChaots don't give a rip about genre borders. Fat technoide beats mix itself with synthis, rock and punk. Maybe the immanent insanity of the music feeds itself from the prehistory of the band members as pizza delivery men, porn shop assistants and participants in drug tests. Having survived those experiences has led to an energetic charge which makes the shows despite of all genre refusal always extremely danceable. Booming pushes the beat, driven by a growling bass and an energetic guitar which delights in mixing up with the synthi-sounds. In this carpet the voices are bed down bordering to the vocal cord ruin but preserving always a certain coolness. A rousing mix, anyhow unsubstantially but nevertheless absolutely to the point. Music for excessive parties where you can let yourself go. The PopChaot-Style of the HipHop-Age! Der Name ist Programm. Stylistisch fest verankert in der Graffiti Szene, scheren sich die PopChaoten eine Kehre Feuchtes um Genregrenzen. Fette technoide Beats mischen sich mit Synthis, Rock und Punk. Der immanente Wahnsinn der Musik speist sich vielleicht auch aus der Vorgeschichte der Bandmitglieder als Pizzaboten, Pornoverkäufer und Teilnehmer an Medikamententests. Das Überleben dieser Erfahrungen hat zu einer eEnergetischen Aufladung geführt, die bei aller Genreverweigerung der Musik die Shows immer extrem tanzbar macht. Bollernd drücken die Beats, getrieben von grunzendem Bass und energetischer Gitarre, die sich soundlich gern mit dem Synthi mischt. In diesen Teppich betten sich Stimmen, die an der Grenze zum Stimmbandruin doch immer eine gewisse Coolness bewahren. Ein mitreißender Mix, irgendwie unwirklich und doch absolut nah und dran. Musik für exzessive Parties, in der man sich treiben lassen kann. The PopChaot-Style of the HipHop-Age!
