During the recording of Black Dream's still unfinished album "Void", and The Dropouts debut album "Failure And Self-Devaluation", St. Amaimon began recording un-listenable noise, using a half broken drum machine, and a guitar pedal. Doing this in his spare time between sessions, the project served no other purpose than to blow off steam, and vent his unending frustrations with writing two separate albums at once. Even with these intentions in mind, a few tracks came of this exercise in absurdity, which brings us to the present.
The first was an untitled track that - for a while - was used as an intro to an earlier Black Dream song called, Bad Love. This ill fated song now rests safely in a library of much better music, to hopefully never be heard again. The intro, however, is now The Mating Rituals Of The Insane. The second was a song inspired by a particular quote from David Koresh, which was turned into a sample, and added along side other cult related audio clips. The title of this song later became the name of this project, under which these, and more tracks could be released formally to the public.
It is not expected of anyone to like, or admire this "music" in any way. You would, without a doubt, have to be mentally ill to even bother listening through an entire song. But, if you need some reason, or deeper meaning behind the sounds youre about to hear, think of it instead, as a defiant counter-statement against music as a whole.
