POPPED! Music Festival 2008
The POPPED! Festival is a 3-day event that will occur annually in Philadelphia. In its second year, POPPED! will use Drexel University, Trocadero, and World Cafe Live as its venues over three days, June 20, 21, 22nd 2008. POPPED! will host globally recognized artists as well as breakthrough local artists, creating lineups each night with unique performances in a boutique setting.
In addition to extraordinary entertainment, POPPED! has a focus on sustainability. The Festival will have a focus on being "green" from working with sustainably minded businesses in the region to recycling plastic, glass, cans, and paper, while educating concert-goers on the importance of a sustianable lifestyle.

Join us for a day of inspired musical offerings and other feats of wonder to bring on the Summer Solstice.
In addition to the musical offerings, the day is accentuated by acrobatic performances by Fly Girls and Fearless Hyenas Stunts, along with poetry readings by Helen Tinsley, shadow puppet projections by Erik Ruin and and a live wood burning art demonstration by Jeramie Bellmay. Dances by Sheila Zagar, and the Kun-Yang Lin Dancers.
