Hey there. Morty here. I’m one of the managers for Poppermost. Please pull up a branch and let’s get down to brass tacks. It's time to clean house, so we're in the process of clipping the wings of our friend list to clear things out a bit.
We want this space to be a community for actual friends that care about us and we, them. We're more interested in quality than numbers, so a bunch of psuedo friends just WON’T fly - we believe in personal contact, actually saying hi, and listening to your music and/or what you have to say. Is it too much to want the same of you? Good, let's talk turkey.

Randomly sending friend requests using robots is mishuggah. If you really want in, send us a message first and you'll be more likely to be added.
So come on by, listen to the music, and leave us a comment every once in a while, bubbellah. We will do the same for you. We'll always do our best to stay in touch.
Now for why you're here in the first place...
That said, it was time for a new plan, so me and my partner, Sol (you'll meet him later), cooked up an idea. See, July 4th is Poppermost's anniversary / birthday -- the band is six years old, and it seemed to be the perfect time for a RE-birthday here in good old Sin City.
So, here's the deal. With drastic cuts in funding for music and creative arts classes in public schools nation-wide, Poppermost decided to add another dimension to its band activities –- a SchoolHouse Rock meets School of Rock hybrid dedicated to teaching the history of popular music, from ABBA to ZZ Top. Enter Lex Neon, Ms. Tex Duckingham (no relation to Lindsay), and Vegas Royal.
In addition to sharing their own music with you here in MySpace, they're planning to have short lessons called "Moments in Pop Music History," led by band member, and all around "walking music encyclopedia," Lex Neon. A former teacher, Lex himself was a product of the now endangered public school music programs.
It's all about helping to change the lives of budding artists and at-risk youth that dream of expressing themselves creatively and freely through music by planting the seeds of music in a child's imagination.
