Sounds Like
I can nevr decide, here are the words of some people who cared to do it for me,
"Poppy weaves off-kilter tales of urban life with the sweetest folk melodies"
(Lady Fest, Bristol 2007)
"From my point of view Poppy was a breath of fresh air. She reminds me of Billy Bragg, not in delivery or style of performance but more in her style of writing. Her songs are keenly observed tales of every day life using simple modern prose." (07)
"Poppy hails fittingly from flower-festival Clutton and arrives in Frome by way of London with bunches of fragrant tunes" (Acoustic Plus, Frome, 2008)

Now heres a little bit ABOUT ME
Well, I sprouted in the west country in a small little village called Clutton.
I was sat quite happily makin my little noises in my little place when one day a big old wind blew me away and I landed in old London town.
I wanted to share my little noise with the big city folk, but when i landed i couldn't find the big city folk.
But a small man with a big nose for smellin told me that there was a place where big and small and medium folks all hang out, so i went to this place and decided to take a seat. now ive found lots of friends that are helpin me make my little noise a bit bigger.
Woops!, the naughty money goblins got me, had to take a ride back down to somerset with the west country fairies, happily though whilst hanging out down here and gigging my songs the lovely little label Carrot and Stick picked me up,

Fresh from their show at Barcelona's Primavera festival, Teeth Mountain will be unleash their heavy concoction of new-wave tribal psychedelic sounds on Cube, using driving percussion like other bands use guitars.
Deep, thick layers of rhythms and overlays of ambiance, from the gritty to the sublime, this eight-piece outfit create a controlled mayhem of weighty neo-tribal trance music, part Indian, part African, part Balkan, and part Baltimore, that transforms consciousness and carries the group and their listeners to higher states.
The Wire magazine recently praised their 'refusal to acknowledge any kind of destination point for their jamming, achieving a convincing state of suspension throughout, helped by some engagingly forceful drumming.'
Teeth Mountain pummel with noise and drums but are always inviting and joyous, a new wave of tribal sounds in underground music. Be prepared to witness a heady, peyote-voodoo brew, getting you out of your seats and on your feet. Teeth Mountain will enthrall you in a rhythmic, musical spell.
