Reunion? Sort of. No John paul Jones present. And the little whte drummer (with hair then)... yeah that's Phil Collins. Ol' Phil was man of the day to play Wembley then fly the Concorde to play in Philly the same day. I watched the whole friggin' event. Thank God that they had some crappy acts for bathroom breaks!!!

In 1978, I was 16 and Octave came out. I bout it and fell in love with the music of the Moody Blues. While other teens were getting into punk, I was buy the whole back catalog of the Moodies. My foray into Prog was just beginning...

The real singing voice of The Cars - Ben Orr. Ben passed away in 2000 due to cancer. A terrible loss. A loss whenever cancer takes anyone. Ric Ocasek of course the other vocalist (who wrote 95% of the songs) ended up marrying the model in this clip.

Growing up in a farm town was like having a giant wall around you, but than God I was one of the first in town to own Elvis Costello and Police CD's!

In the U.S., to get any rock on TV, it was either American Bandstand, Midnight Special, or later on SNL. AB was always lip synched. Midnight Special, though cheezy, had good live acts.
