Being in the underground circuit for nine years and gaining knowledge of the rap game, Poppy's stepping out of his shell and away from Da Jury to pursue a solo career. From city to city, state to state, interview to interview, people always want to know where the rap name originates from and he explains that it is from a previous life of drug selling and crime participation that is not to be idolized nor duplicated. Since the summer of 2005, Poppy's been putting together his first and long anticipated solo album entitled.. "Soon As I Thought I Was Out... They Pulled Me Back In"... With this album, Poppy brings to the hip hop community substance and ingredients with a style like no other with no additives or preservatives. With banging tracks like .."7:30".. and..
