  • Movies

Don't really have any favourite films as I rarely go to the cinema, but I guess I'd have to go for predictable ones e.g. Star Wars, Lord of the Rings...I also tend to like music-related films, such as Almost Famous, High Fidelity, School of Rock, Control etc., but I've only watched them all once as I don't really see the point in watching the same films over and over again...!
  • Television

Hardly ever watch TV as I'm never in the same night two weeks running due to going to gigs, so haven't really got into watching any programmes on a regular basis...
  • Books

Hardly ever read books either as I never seem to have time...but, somewhat predictably, I like reading books about bands. I own Ray Davies' autobiography, and Blur, Nirvana, Pulp and Suede 'official history'-type books. I also have a fair few Nick Hornby books.
  • Heroes

In no particular order: John Peel, Martin O'Neill, Ray Davies, Graham Coxon...and members of my family that are no longer with us.

Blurbs

About me:

Hello. My name is Steve, I've been living in Bristol for over 10 years now (well, now Keynsham, but I still spend a lot of time in Bristol), so although I'm not from these parts, it feels like home. I was born in High Wycombe (and support Wycombe Wanderers), but grew up in the dull town of Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire. Moved here in '96 for a short-lived course at the University of the West of England, but dropped out and have since been doing mostly dull call centre jobs to pay for my obsession with going to gigs and buying CDs. I can often be spotted in the Louisiana, the Fleece, the Croft, the Cube, the Academy etc. etc. watching bands with a trusty pint of cider or 3, and I also go to Ramshackle at the Academy and Klub Kute at the Cooler from time to time. Some other far-from-interesting facts: I'm left-handed, have a cat called Rocky, and can neither drive nor swim.

Who I'd like to meet:

Unlike a lot of people on here, I'm actually more interested in listening to bands than meeting people, but I'm friendly :o)

We have put a new song up for you, it’s only a rough demo which hasn’t really been mixed well and hasn’t been produced but it will give you a taster of what may come next in our next recording sessions which we are trying to set before Christmas.

Enjoy! It’s called 'Stop'. Please tell us what you think.
