We're just another cool indie band trying to play gigs and to make records... We have different points of view about what myspace is (we're a democratic - but centralist- band) but we agree that it's not a stamps collection! En septembre 2005, Fabien (Anorak City) et CY (Colossal youth) après des nuits passées à manger des rollmops suédois et à se prendre en photo dans des bars westerns décident de se mettre au travail, Emilie (Emilie quoi...) les rejoint... Ils sont jeunes, ils sont beaux, ils seront Start ! pour mieux témoigner d'influences mods mal digérées... Flairant la bonne affaire le prestigieux barathon de Melting Pop décide de les programmer. Dans la salle, Fanou (Skittle Alley) revit sa jeunesse... des accords simples, des voix peu assurées de crevettes chêtives... il décide immédiatement de les rejoindre. Guillaume, épaule bienveillante de tant de talents gachés, leur offre deux plages sur la compilation Handmade d'Anorak Records (trois en fait mais le troisième morceau ne sortira jamais... le chant n'était pas en rythme et le mythe en marche pour ce morceau secret). Après bien des aventures, des déguisements et de la sangria périmée, ils décident d'enregistrer leurs chansons pour que tout le monde puisse les entendre et d'embaucher Olivier, un batteur aux t-shirts douteux (mais très beaux)...

:) On est effectivement un groupe de Clermont mais moi je suis de La Souterraine, à côté de Limoges justement. J'aimerais bien vous voir sur scène là-bas à l'occasion!! En fait Clermont bouge pas mal comme tu dis, grâce notamment à la Coopérative de mai ( la salle de concert). Il y à aussi des assos comme les Hand Clapping Girls dont je fais partie qui organise des trucs plus "indé". Y'a une scène folk importante, pas mal de garage, de la pop...Ce serait cool que vous veniez faire un tour à Clermont à l'occasion!! Donnez de vos nouvelles! A plus
PS: et sur limoges c'est comment pour la musique? Je me souviens de "pop sur la ville" et de petits groupes pas mal que j'avais vus en première partie de Blonde Redhead à la grande époque. Salut Baptiste
