PopTarts is a night of female-fronted pop bands and female songwriters...get it? ..tarts ...pop? A concept put together originally by Amanda Easton in Sydney, it brings together some of the best girl popular music talent in Australia. Recently 20 weeks of live gigs took place in Melbourne.
The gigs were all video taped and multitrack audio recorded, and will soon be transformed into a new TV series to be called PopTarts Live ! Watch for it later this year.
