The name 'poptwenty' comes from childhood memories of sitting in my cousin's car during summer holidays up in Lancashire listening to her Erasure greatest hits album (POP! - 20 Hits). I suppose all the music I try to create is a mixture of hazy flashbacks of soft synthy poppy tunes with harmony upon harmony, crossed with nonsensical beats and the teenage residue of listening to too much Nu-Metal.
It sounds pretentious, but I'm really not taking myself seriously and neither should you.
