About me:
Says it all really.....God I love this:
I never really subscribed to organised religion so I like what I like and hate what I hate. Make it up as you go along as long as your shitlist includes Queen, Elton, anything remotely influenced by / connected to Robbie Williams, Cowell or Ronan Keaton you should be relatively safe.
Attitude over ability any day in my book.

Billy Childish is a living God amongst men - but he probably wouldn't tell you if you met him! Graham Day is doing the Fine Wine impression and just getting better and better - Check out the new stuff The Gaolers are doing - positively pelvic it is so hip! (cat)
I see that The Mourning After are back at The Studio on Saturday March 13th. The band also have a new single out which you can hear at - http://www.myspace.com/trypticrecords
I see Jarvis Humby have called it a day. Don't know what went on but 3 of them are setting up a new band. Not too sure what the frontman Andy is up to though. There's a clip on YouTube of a band called The Steppin' Stones covering the Jarvis Humby single 'Get Aboard My Train'. Not sure if that's the new band but Mick & Dave from Jarvis Humby are in the bands line up. They still hope to release the 2nd Graham Day produced Jarvis Humby album sometime in the new year.
There's a Mod do in Boro on 20th March 2010 at The Buffs Club on Southfield Road. I've been asked to form/join a band for the night with some ex-members from Present Tense & The Avengers. Not sure if it will happen though but even if it doesn't I'll be doing a DJ set on the night.
"Sounds like it was not only recorded live, but recorded live down a tin can to a tape recorder at the other end of a phone, and sounding great for it!" - Mark Lamarr, BBC Radio 2
Hey Paulie! Not heard from you in awhile. Hows it going? Did you hear about the Top Gear crew (Clarkson, James May & The Hamster) appearing at The Riverside on Saturday? They came out at half time all dressed in Newcastle tops! Didn't go down too well with the crowd.
Having a few beers with my mate last week and he sugested that The Pretty Things 'Midnight To Six Man' would be a great tune for us to cover. What do you think? Also when we get another gig sorted I want the lot below to support us ;-)
Hey Paulie! Hows tricks? Thee Strawberry Mynde got offered a last minute gig at the Arena. But it was yesterday and I've only just seen the email as I've been at Bridlington scooter rally all weekend. I emailed them back and said we'd like to play the Arena if they have any other gigs.
I've got a spare copy of The Shambles tribute album if you want a copy? It includes me & Ian when we were in Afterglow. Also there's a great cover of 'Can't Don't Want To' on the album by The Lola's.

Hi Paulie! Hope you got The Dentists CD ok. Went to a great gig last night at The Georgian. The High Plane Drifters and Russell & The Wolves. Both bands are great live. We should see about doing a gig with them sometime.
Just stopping by to say hello and give you some news. The new album 'Coolgilly and the Freakshow' from Centascope is now available worldwide from CD Baby and directly from the merchandise page of the official website. You can also get the album from Apple iTunes, MSN Music, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon and many more.
Hey Paul! Just ripped that Swedish garage comp to the pc. I'll get it on disc and send you a copy. Any news on the job front yet? Looks like the Geordies will be joining Boro in the drop if the Fergie fields his youth team against Hull on Sunday. Oh well at least Charlie will get to see Cardiff a few times next season without having to travel 100s of miles.
