Porpoise are a Midlands based four piece who formed in January 2007.
Since then they have hit the dizzying heights of playing the pub circuit, rarely being paid but enjoying the fuck out of each and every gig....
Original Bassplayer Jon Berhendt left in 2009 and was briefly replaced by Jad Hill who in turn left after suggesting they write songs about sexy gingerbread men.
The line up was complete when long time friend Adam Harper joined in Spring 2009.
Porpoise have released so far:

Heyho! I figured bands would be sticking around, you're right, it's our world now. Yeah, still living near Bearwood. Still not braved the big bad world of gigging but I am tempted!
It seems a lot of people are leaving Myspace so I've set up a bunch of other music-based profiles... if you want to keep track of what I'm up to you can follow me or fan me or whatever it is those sites encourage. Come and say hi!
I'll still be here too of course, if this is your social networking venue of preference.
After what seems like an eternity away, November 2009 will see “A” back on the road where they belong.
Cheers for the request!!! and Stay in touch!!!
“A” Tour the UK in November/ December.

Hey - you're on twitter; now I can follow the loveable exploits of Porpoise from the comfort of my living room (which is also my kitchen and bedroom because I live in a studio flat).
Geezers. We've put on a gig for the 5th September at the Varsity in Wolverhampton with Butterfly Fan the Inferno, Kidnapper Bell and the Egos. Let us know if you want to come along as it's ticket only.
Looking forward to that new recording. It's gonna be a bit of a departure from your other recordings by the sound of your new stuff.
