BIOGRAPHY Over the last ten years, Portal have released a series of singles and albums on a variety of independent labels, most notably Make Mine Music, the label co-founded by Portal main man Scott Sinfield. Portal's music won early support from legendary DJ John Peel, for whom a BBC radio session was recorded in 2000, and received acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, the NME and DJ Magazine. After a three year hiatus, Portal return in November 2008 with "Options", an EP of material written and recorded with new collaborators, and a track on the "MMM050" Make Mine Music compilation CD. The new tracks show another evolutionary shift, something that has perhaps become something of a trademark of Portal's music over the years.
