A PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA é uma banda de Belo Horizonte (MG), que tem como objetivo contribuir para o resgate do bom e velho rock’n roll e da avalanche cultural criativa e inovadora que esse movimento proporcionou ao mundo, principalmente nas décadas de 60 e 70. O grupo vem se apresentando em diversos locais da capital mineira e a reação do público sempre tem sido bastante positiva, principalmente em relação às músicas próprias do quinteto.

Fundado em 2002 – ainda com o nome Projeto 1289 - e com algumas mudanças em sua formação, o grupo se consolidou em 2008 com o nome e integrantes atuais. A PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA é formada por BERNARDO GUERRA (guitarra base e backing vocals), HERMANO FARIA (bateria), PEDRO CATALDO (guitarra solo e backing vocals), THIAGO MARQUES (teclado, sax alto e vocais) e YURI LOPES (contrabaixo).

As influências da PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA vão desde o ícone Elvis Presley aos lendários Beatles, passando por Chuck Berry, Raul Seixas e pela psicodelia dos americanos da banda Love e de Syd Barret, fundador, ex-líder, compositor e guitarrista do Pink Floyd.

Além das interpretações viscerais e contagiantes de suas seis músicas próprias presentes na primeira demo homônima da banda (2007) e de outras próprias ainda inéditas, a PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA inclui em suas apresentações clássicos do rei Roberto Carlos, de Elvis Presley e de outros nomes primordiais à história do rock’n roll.

Os covers das bandas brasileiras Beat Boys e The Galaxies, da americana Love e as músicas próprias do grupo são carregados de influências psicodélicas e do tradicional rock’n roll de Elvis e companhia, o que inevitavelmente transforma os shows da PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA em uma grande festa, onde se dança, canta, sorri e curte muito rock’n roll!

A banda, que desenvolve todas as suas atividades de forma independente, vem trabalhando em seu primeiro disco, que ainda não tem previsão de lançamento. PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA is a band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, wich objective is to be part of the rescue of the old and traditional rock’n roll and the creative culture that this moviment proposed to the world, especially in the 60’s and 70’s. This group is currently playing in a lot of rock bars and night clubs in Belo Horizonte and around. The reaction of the public has been always positive, especially about their own songs.

In action since 2002 – when band’s name was Projeto 1289 – and with some changes in their formation, the band has the actual name and formation since 2008. The team is: BERNARDO GUERRA (lead guitars and backing vocals), HERMANO FARIA (drums), PEDRO CATALDO (solo guitar and backing vocals), THIAGO MARQUES (vocals, keyboard and saxophone) and YURI LOPES (bass guitar).

PORTA PANTOGRAFICA influences go since the icon Elvis Presley, going throught Chuck Berry, Raul Seixas and the psychedelia from Arthur Brown’s Love and Syd Barret, creative psychedelic composer and a genius of this genre.

More than the visceral and explosive live presentations of the six songs from their first demo album (PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA, 2007) and another ones non-released in albums yet, PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA plays in their shows classic rocks from the king Roberto Carlos, Elvis Presley and another primordial names in rock’n roll history.

The covers from the brazilian bands Beat Boys and The Galaxies, the american band Love and the own musics from this brazilian quintet are full of psychedelic influences and from the traditional Elvis and company’s rock’n and roll. All of this, always changes the PORTA PANTOGRÁFICA’s shows in a great and animated party where people can dance, sing, smile and have fun with a lot of good rock’n roll!!!
