This is the ONLY page on Myspace for the Port City Allstars, this page is maintained by a fan with no ties to the band. I'm Pat, and I wanted to show some love for this short-lived band so I put my favorite songs up. You can download many more songs on their official website.
Thanks, and enjoy.

In a small port city, not far from here, live three musical allstars. Writing simple yet memorable pop songs by day and playing high-energy shows by night, its uncanny that they dont tire. Maybe its the pre-show concoction of orange juice, berries and lasagnaor maybe its the amount of infectious energy contained within their songsbut this musical trio has a very entertaining and endearing live show. They call themselves the Port City Allstars, and they are the antithesis to what has been occurring musically in port city Saint John, New Brunswick before now.
But its not only their contagious songs and entertaining live show that make the Allstars stand out; its also the fact that they take not being serious very seriously. We believe you can work hard at something and still have a good sense of humor about it, Mowery says. We try our hardest to take being silly seriously because its just so deliciously absurd.

"Adam, Tyler, Joanna, you have inspired many, including myself, to act upon our musical aspirations and to make sure when it's all said and done you have something to show for yourself. You have almost fifty songs sitting on my computer, and on 4 of the most brilliant albums we have ever seen or we likely ever will see in Saint John. You have a wealth of new found friends and fans. You have colorful pictures and buttons and stickers. You have memories and the thanks and respect of an entire city. You have shared all of these things with us too, and cheers to that. I D-I-G YOUR P-O-P."

thanks for the nice words. the song is called "anthem for the previously defeated". the one on the site is just a demo, but turned out way better than we could have expected. we're re-recording it in studio right now, and i'm not sure it can live up. most of the new record seems to be loud and crazy like that one.
Cheers, PCA! Every once in a while I find myself singing "Girl Gets The Middle of the Pickup Truck" ... just out of the blue. Your songs are infectious. Peace.
