So what’s PORT CITY P.D. about anyway? At the Port City Police Department, cases are funneled from first-line detectives to a dead-end detective pool when solutions are not easily found for seemingly petty cases. Despising where they are (in their lives and their careers), the once "top notch" detectives' true colors are revealed as their cases turn into something much more than vandalism and stolen property. Completely character driven, PORT CITY P.D. is not just about the cases, but more about the everyday lives of these detectives. Each character is unique and has their own way of dealing with the commonplace stress of being part of a police department. Some handle it well, others, not so good. Because they are on the lower end of the detective unit, they must prove themselves time and time again, intelligence sometimes being their most powerful weapon. But when all else fails, it’s no holds barred.

Little do they know, a convicted serial killer escapes from the authorities while on death row at a maximum security prison. Touted in the headlines of the local papers as "The Butcher" due to the manner he hacked up his victims in the local town deli, he takes cover on THE VERY SAME ISLAND. It becomes a battle for survival as the teens attempt to fight back against this unimaginable foe.
