A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell. ~Lewis

Heroes
Hmmmm... the connotation for a hero seems to be a paladin... a champion... an idol.
My Champion is Christ!
If you look in the dictionary, you will read that a hero is "a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities; a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal; the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc." (it's also the bread or roll used in making a hero sandwich).
At any rate... I admire THIS man for his distinguished courage and ability. I admire him for his brave deeds and noble qualities (godliness):
The love of my life!
Here, though, are the other two people on Earth that I hold most dear, and I beg that they will NOT become my idols (they've not lived long enough to be noble and their seeming courageousness is really childish curiosity and bravado):
NOAH:
THIS is NOTHING! When his daddy was this VERY age, he stole his mother's green curtain dye and hopped into the tub. He emerged as a tiny version of the Incredible Hulk! It must be in the genes!
LYDIA:
My cutie-patootie! She knows how to get exactly what she wants! We're going to have to work on this!!!

Okay honey, I have caught up with dad.... now it's your turn! =D 10+ years is too too long. LOL We should do lunch one weekend. Plan it sister. You are not getting out of this one. Ha Ha
Hey girl...I know this is so late just getting back to this..but my friend Michelle came over with her mom's nice Canon and we played around and got some really good shots! :)
So I walked outside to check the mail today and I found a fun pretty princess invitation! We are so excited about Lydia's birthday party! Parties were fun before kids but now they are even better having a little one! :) We CAN NOT wait to see you guys and to see the little princess and astronaunt Noah too! :) Love ya girl and we'll be seeing you soon!
You poor thing! Benjamin is going to La Petite today- they are going swimming this afternoon. I know Chris would love another geocaching trip. Me too! The Bigelow's son, Connor, has been coming over for about 15-30 minutes each night and playing with Benjamin. They are both into collecting circada shells. We have a large bowl of them now. Lydia would love Connor. I have been drinking too much diet coke lately and have been sleeping terribly. And eating like a pig. And not exercising. Thus, lack of sleep. I'm sitting here today daydreaming about napping! I hope you feel better!
Hi there! Benjamin had a blast this week. Thanks so much for letting Chris and I see a movie. I really can't remember the last "adult" movie I have seen. Hmmmm.... I can't wait to hear about your trip!!!
hey friend. how are you? I'm struggling right now and could use some prayer. I think I got lost a bit for a few months..been reading the book and praying to get back on track. Love you and hope all is well.
