When owner Geri Higgins began looking at the kitchen as a space that reaches beyond its four walls, as a special gathering place that reflects who we are, the things we love, and the people we cherish, she began elevating design in Kansas City to its rightful place.
Since opening Portfolio Kitchen & Home, we have become Kansas City’s premier resource for fine custom cabinetry, professional grade appliances, diverse countertop materials, exquisite lighting, unique flooring, original works of art, and, of course, exceptional design services.

The Portfolio Philosophy…
Portfolio’s design philosophy is truly client-driven, in that we strive to understand each client’s unique lifestyle, their family rituals and traditions, and then foster our clients’ self-expression through the design process. We believe that we are not just designing a kitchen or a bath, but rather a unique personal expression of those that will be using it. Our mantra: Live well…Live beautifully!
As such, Portfolio is not your ordinary kitchen showroom…upscale contemporary furnishings, stylish accessories and original artwork by local artists combine to create our five “display environments”, meant to be explored and experienced.

Boasting nine cabinetry lines, including fully-custom, locally-made Century Wood Products, and sleek and sophisticated Pedini from Milan, Italy, we have remained true to our vision of delivering the unexpected—by deliberately seeking to change the marketplace by offering unique products.
This summer Portfolio is proud to introduce Studio PKH, a fabulous new division of Portfolio offering the same great design in an affordable price range.
