Have a fun time this weekend at the show and stay safe as always. Do know that though I may have never seen you personally, I never take for granted how much you sacrifice in order to entertain people and that's an admirable quality that is appreciated. I also never take for granted the kindness you show because it means a lot and says a lot about who you are.
So thank you for everything that you've done, not just for me but for anyone. A lot of times we can take for granted the things that we're given and I hope that you always know that what you do is well respected because I'm sure there's hardships as there are with anything. It's in those times that we need to have the patience to be able to get through things that may be burdening us and it's also important to know we have that type of support in those times to help guide us through.
Here's to hoping that you're loving life and that you have happiness and peace with everything without any real stress about anything at all.
Guess what.. I may be visiting my uncle in Water town, New York this summer so I may just pop myself over the border and visit you in your neck of the woods.. Sound cool?
The decade is almost over and we're heading into a new one, maybe it's me but it's crazy to think it's been ten years since the whole Y2K thing, isn't it? It's weird when you look back and think about how each of these years have progressed. You can look through a lot of your old memories, family, friends and people that you know and see how much has changed within that time frame.
I know that when I look back at this decade and think of you, I'll remember that random day in about 2005 that I was playing a computer game about running a wrestling company and saw your name there. The name drew me in and I saw your picture which made me think of someone who had potential to be something special. Ever since then I grew into being a fan of yours without ever really seeing you wrestle because I saw the drive that you had and the determination to get somewhere and that was all I needed to know that you were something special.
Now fast forward to nearly half a decade later and here I sit typing to someone who has made a name for herself that's come a long way from being the local Canadian girl that was just starting out fresh out of high school. I finally got to see you in action and you never disappointed me in the potential I saw back then, you're talented in the ring and I'll stand there debating anyone who wants to think otherwise.
If that's just half a decades worth of memories, I can only imagine what it's going to be like when a full decade comes up. I know that you can do anything you set yourself too because you've already traveled all over the world and back, which says a lot for being so young. Not only do I think you have that potential in wrestling to do whatever you want, I think you have that potential outside of it too. You're a special all around person and I hope that however you celebrate the new year, you enjoy yourself and stay safe. May the next decade bless you with even more and I sincerely mean that.
I hope that your Christmas is Frickin' Awesome and I hope you have a Frickin' Awesome New Year too. I'm about to put a batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies in the oven and I wish you were here! I hope that Santa Claus is good to you and I hope all is well. Talk to you later.
You know, I love this time of the year because nearly everyone is on a high Christmas spirit and there tends to be a lot more love out there than usual for everyone and anyone. It's this time of the year that people look at what they have and realize how much it means to them. It makes me wish that we could have that every day of the year, that same type of attitude where we all just feel so happy with everything.
I hope that you're happy with everything and that life this year has been kind to you. In a season filled with cold weather, it's always heartwarming to see someone having a good time and it seems to me like you've had a lot of them this year. It can really rub off on other people too. I pray that all your Christmas wishes come true because you deserve it and it is the season of miracles.
Happy holidays and an early Merry Christmas, with some well deserved rest and maybe some Christmas cookies to boot. Enjoy a snowy winter wonderland for your holidays and while I may not have snow myself, this song surely got me in the Christmas spirit so I'll share it with you.
Hey Portia,
too bad I couldn't see you at the tour in november.
How are you doing anyways?
Hope you had tons of fun!
Enjoy the new week,
take care,
stay safe,
many greetings from Max
Portia perez your talented and you show that weman kick ass.when my I start my company some time in 2010 I want great wrestlers like you and others on my show.I have a local wrestler and she would love to learn from athletes like you.take care and keep doing what you do best your awesome
I hope you've had a safe flight back home after the tour. I also hope you had an awesome time on the tour and I got to see the talk show and radio shows you were a part of, that was pretty cool. Overall, it looked like it was a ton of fun and I hope that everything else is going great too, it's a great time of the year isn't it? The holiday season usually brings about joy and I hope you have that joy going on too. All the best with a great weekend of hopefully some well deserved rest too. I'll leave you with a quote:
"The most important thing is not to be bitter over life's disappointments. Learn to let go of the past and recognize that everyday won't be sunny. When you find yourself lost in the darkness and despair...remember, it's only in the black of night that you can see the stars. Those stars lead you back home, so don't be afraid to make mistakes...to stumble and fall. Most of the time, the greatest rewards come from doing the things that scare you the most. Maybe you'll get everything you wished for, maybe you'll get more than you ever could of imagined. Who knows where life will take you? The road is long and in the end, the journey is the destination."
Even though you're Canadian, incommunicado and in Germany at the moment, I thought I'd wish you a happy American Thanksgiving to let you know that despite you being gone, we haven't forgotten about you. Hoping that tours going extremely well and interesting to hear that you teamed up with Raven on it. If we have any chocolate chip cookies, I'll spare some and send them to you . Take care as always whenever you do get to read this and a Happy Thanksgiving x2.
