In the Paranormal Field, many different pieces of evidence are caught and shared throughout the community. It is a fact some people offer pieces of evidence that are NOT Paranormal Activity, though claim that it is. We call these pieces of 'evidence', Hoax's.
Portland Paranormal Society wishes to prevent these hoax's from growing in popularity. By preventing fake evidence from reaching the mainstream, the Paranormal Field might finally be recognized by the scientific community; a major goal in the pursuit for answers.
How do we stop hoax's from being mistaken as true Paranormal Activity? By doing the only thing One can do; educate by making a game!

Striving for the strictest adherence to the laws of science we have tried to define what is really unexplained and what is just worldly phenomenon. Using various equipment in an effort to debunk most of what people believe to be hauntings, spirits and the paranormal.
We personally like to put ourselves in the mindset that no home or business is 'Haunted' and work from there. We base our beliefs on the premise that each piece of evidence is a hoax. When left a piece of evidence that is unexplainable, we begin to lable it as possible Paranormal Activity.

We are searching for individuals who wish to prove the existence of the Paranormal by using scientific methods; (Digital cameras, EMF detectors, EVP recorders, Video and thermometer)
Investigators is only a small portion of what we need to fill Most of our team is already pulling two or three positions. We need investigators but we more importantly need trained eyes and ears for analysis of evidence. We need good public relations and sponsorship. We need someone organized that setups up our cases and appointments for us. We need knowledgeable people in the areas of photography, cameras, video, film, audio, and the Paranormal.
As you can see there is a long list of needs and we like our investigators to take on one of these responsibilities before we take them to an investigation. If there is something above that interests you, we can give you more information. If you take pride in your responsibility your name will certainly come up when investigators are called.
There are an infinite number of universes existing side by side and through which our consciousnesses constantly pass. In these universes, all possibilities exist. You are alive in some, long dead in others, and never existed in still others. Many of our "ghosts" could indeed be visions of people going about their business in a parallel universe or another time -- or both.

So here it is, Tuesday, and I gotta say -- things are getting kinda weird out here in the great Pacific Northwest. Maybe it's all the rain. Too dang much moss everywhere. And then... well you know how people you think you knew can suddenly change? Like overnight? Like from straight out of left field?
