About me:
The Sentinel is a small-market multi-media news service that covers St. John's, Sauvie Island, the Multnomah Channel, Linnton, and the Greater North Portland area (areas of the City of Portland West of Williams Avenue).
The print edition distributes 20,000 copies the first Wednesday of every month.
The Sentinel (formerly the St Johns Sentinel) has been operating as a monthly newspaper since March of 2001.
Mission: To promote excellence in non-fiction, print and photo journalism in the service of community.
