About Poseidons Anger

The band was formed in the year 2004 with Lee Glide and Chris Clark, with the idea of being a Epic Historical/Mythological Rock and metal band. However the project was put on hold for a very long time untill the beggining of 2006 when it was picked up again by the addition of a new member to the band Josh Cirbo. Over the following year many songs were formatted and ideas spread untill songs were finally hammered out. The idea came up to make it a more international project with different guests from other bands around the world. This idea while it seemed almost impossible has now begun to take shape and with the addition of so many Guests it is bound to be one of the most origonally and catchy projects of its kind, and underground metal masterpiece.
There are currently 4 songs up and listed on the site, the First song Being the band's theme song Poseidon's Anger, this one has been in the works from the very begging. The second song is about the famous battle of Kadesh that took place in the middle east during the time of the pharos. The album version of this song will Featuring Michael from the band Orion's Regin on lead guitars. The current version features Josh on Lead guitar. Third there is a track about the river Styx, which features Rus Gib on lead guitar, keyboards and also vocals, this is a a very atmospheric song and I think it really paints the picture well of the river Styx "The river of death" Lastly we have a demo song from the album to be released in the early winter about Hades himself, this is one of a few duel vocal appearance songs featuring Starla the vocalist form the new Waveforms as Persephone, and Rus Gib once again as Hades. This track has been released with another single song from the forthcoming album The War of the Gods, on the Attila EP. The album is currently released and ready to be purchased from us whenever needed.

Heaven and Earth	Nov 13 2009 4:10 AM Hi Poseidons Anger! Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others. This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!
