About me:
It's time for Philadelphia to... GET SICK!
POSITIVELY SICK ON SOUTH STREET (the namesake taking inspiration from two opposite yet seemingly symmetrical ends of the Rock 'N' Roll gene pool--Bob Dylan and The Humpers, along with a good dose of Philly attytood) is a monthly happenin' that celebrates everything great about Rock 'N' Roll.
Hosted at Tritone, the night focuses on the best Garage Rock, Punk Rock, Power Pop, and just straight up Rock 'N' Fuckin' Roll in the City of Bother & Loathe.
NO INDIE-ROCK WHATSOEVER!
Each event focuses on new and established local bands, as well as great out-of-town and touring acts, and we may even throw in a guest DJ now and again (but don't be mistaken, this is NOT another lame DJ nite... the emphasis here is on LIVE MUSIC!).
ALWAYS a low door cost, cheap drinks, giveaways, and other surprises!
