Jordan Hart, along with Alex (aka Change) and Dfunkdamager, comprise the DJ / Producer collective better known as Positive Response. Their "no walls" approach to DJ'ing came mostly from a deep admiration for the Ninja Tune label (especially Coldcut's classic mixtape "Journeys by a DJ: 70 Minutes of Madness"), and present day party rockers such as Z-Trip, Diplo, DJ AM and DJ Craze.
Positive Response are no strangers to the spotlight, in 2009, the boys DJ'ed the uber-exclusive Red Bull Super Bowl party with guests including Diddy, Deon Sanders and more...they've also shared stages with the likes of Jurassic 5, Talib Kweli, Kid Capri, DJ Krush (Japan), Kid Koala, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad, Aceyalone, John B, Public Enemy's DJ Lord, APSCI, DJ Monk (R.I.T.M.), Keith Mackenzie & Fixx, J-Break, Sharaz, DJ SPS, MC Collaborator and many more.
Dfunkdamager has continually proved himself as the Bay's premier turntablist, taking home the Tampa Guitar Center's DJ Battle Championship in 2004 and 2005. Jordan Hart never fails to brings the funk each and every night he graces the decks at Tampa Bay hot spots such as Fly Bar, Rare Olive, Push Ultra Lounge and many others. Alex Hart, a.k.a. Change, has quickly established himself as one of the finest young producers around, intelligently utilizing the vast array of sounds and samples made available to him through the collective's deep crates.
As if they weren't busy enough, the boys are also affiliated with local music scene kingpins- Tastemakers (Best Music Series 2005, Weekly Planet).

I finally finished up a project I have been working on closely with my homie DJ Trippin' over the past few months. The idea was to take a handful of my freestyles, studio tracks, and b-sides I've recorded over the last year and combine them all to a 1 track mix. All mixing, scratching, and juggling was performed by DJ Trippin'. The effort is available for high quality download by clicking the cover below!
THE DIARY Volume 1.5 (20 Years of the Remix) now available for free download at WWW.MUSICOFSUBSTANCE.COM!
“This CD just shows how much Chris Read knows about historic Hip Hop production techniques - Its just a shame he wasn't creating this stuff during the eras he's covering as we would probably rate the man as being up there with Paul C, Pete Rock, Premier and all! - I can't think of another Hip Hop CD I've played so much in years” (ANDY SMITH - PORTISHEAD)
"Chris continues the rap anthology concept of his super-dope 'The Diary' megamix in the shape of a remix project, re-lacing acapellas from 89-2009 with historically accurate beats. 'The Diary 1.5' serves as a great platform for Chris to showcase his ample beat-making skills whilst referencing those who've inspired him." (DJ WOODY - FORMER WORLD ITF CHAMPION)
“Wicked! The perfect companion to The Diary Mixtape. Shows an impressive knowledge of sounds from all eras.” (MR THING - FORMER WORLD DMC CHAMPION)
"Crazy! This is Rap History in the making. Chris proves his production skills on this one to the fullest. A wonderful and refreshing journey through all eras of hip hop. Double thumbs up!" (MARC HYPE - FORMER ITF CHAMPION)
