Circa 1987:
POSITIVE OUTLOOK was started way back in September of 1986 and quickly got on the San Francisco Bay Area band scene supporting close friends ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT (R.I.P.) playing their first show on December 30th of 1986. In the following months, they played many shows with bands such as CHRIST ON PARADE, MDC, THE ACCUSED, SID TERROR AND THE UNDEAD, SPECIAL FORCES, NEUROSIS and ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT to name a few.
Then, the POSITIVE ADJUSTMENT tour began; an extensive 13 date US and Canadian West Coast tour with gigs in San Francisco, Tacoma, Seattle, Reno, Las Vegas, Victoria and Vancouver B.C.
Immediately after their return back home to the Bay Area, P.O. released their debut demo "No More War!" which instantly began selling at an unexpected and incredibly fast rate. Lyrical content dealing with such topics as freedom of thought, world peace, and scene unity, anti-racism and anti-war, as well as speaking out against heavy drug and alcohol abuse.
The message? POSITIVE OUTLOOK is trying to show that they're not "just another band" and that it's ok to believe in GOD or whatever you want, that they do care about the entire world around us and its inhabitants (human and animal). P.O. is full of many different influences varying from "speed-core thrash" to straight out "rock 'n' roll" (no Top 40 stuff though!)

Future plans? An upcoming 4-song single in June, a larger tour, and a full length album (LP) by the beginning months of 1988.
Closing comments: We're very much into participation and unity (fans are just as important as bands!); we hate big, overprofessional bands who are only after money and fame. Every letter we receive is read and answered!
